      Fly Kathmandu β†’ Lukla β†’ Trek to Phakding

      Flight: 30–35 mins | Trek: 3–4 hrs | Altitude: 2,610 m | Overnight: Phakding

      An early mountain flight brings you to Lukla's famous Tenzing-Hillary Airport β€” one of the world's most dramatic airstrips.

      Phakding β†’ Namche Bazaar

      Trek: 6–7 hrs | Altitude: 3,440 m | Overnight: Namche Bazaar

      Today's trail follows the Dudh Koshi river through beautiful pine forest while crossing a series of dramatic suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Bridge.

      Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar

      An important acclimatization day to help your body gradually adjust to the increasing altitude.

      One of the most scenic trekking days in the Everest region. The trail contours high above the valley with breathtaking ridge-line views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam dominating the skyline.

      A comfortable descent back toward Namche Bazaar, retracing the scenic high trail through Tengboche and the upper Dudh Koshi valley.

      Leave the busy Everest Base Camp trail behind and head toward the quieter and more remote Gokyo Valley.

      A shorter trekking day designed to allow gradual altitude gain and proper acclimatization.

      Today's trail follows the edge of the massive Ngozumpa Glacier while passing a series of stunning turquoise glacial lakes that define the Gokyo Valley.

      Descend through beautiful pine forest and cross the suspension bridges of the Dudh Koshi valley one final time.

      The final trekking day follows the Dudh Koshi valley back to Lukla with a series of gradual climbs and descents through Sherpa villages and forested hillsides.
