Rhododendron forests, Gurung villages, legendary Annapurna sunrise from Poon Hill.
The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is widely regarded as Nepal's premier short trekking experience. Starting and finishing from Pokhara, this 5-day journey takes you through lush rhododendron forests, traditional Gurung and Magar villages, and delivers one of the most celebrated Himalayan panoramas in the world — the sunrise from Poon Hill (3,210 m).
Whether you are a first-time trekker, travelling with family, or simply short on time, this trek offers an authentic Himalayan experience without requiring weeks away or high-altitude acclimatization. You will pass through charming villages such as Ulleri, Ghorepani, Tadapani, and Ghandruk, each offering warm teahouse hospitality and breathtaking scenery.
