Arrive in Kathmandu, meet your guide and review the trek plan, equipment and Lukla flight details.
Flight: ~30 min | Trek: 3-4 hrs | Altitude: 2,610 m
Take the early mountain flight to Lukla and begin trekking through the lower Khumbu Valley.
Trek: 5-6 hrs | Altitude: 3,440 m
Enter Sagarmatha National Park and cross several suspension bridges before the long climb to Namche Bazaar.
Hike: 3-4 hrs | Sleep altitude: 3,440 m
Spend a second night in Namche for acclimatization. Hike toward Everest View Hotel or Khumjung village, then return to explore the market and prepare for the higher trail.
Trek: 5-6 hrs | Altitude: ~4,200 m
Leave the main Everest Base Camp trail and turn toward the Gokyo Valley.
Trek: 4-5 hrs | Altitude: ~4,470 m
Continue steadily up the valley past yak pastures and seasonal settlements.
Trek: 4-5 hrs | Altitude: ~4,790 m
Climb beside the Ngozumpa Glacier and pass the beautiful turquoise Gokyo lakes before reaching Gokyo village.
Hike: 4-5 hrs | High point: ~5,357 m | Overnight: Gokyo
Climb Gokyo Ri for one of the best panoramic views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Trek: 3-4 hrs | Altitude: ~4,700 m
Cross the moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier and continue to Thagnak. This is a shorter trekking day before the Cho La Pass crossing.
Trek: 8-10 hrs | Pass altitude: 5,420 m
Start early for the demanding crossing of Cho La Pass. The trail includes steep rocky terrain and glacier sections before descending to Dzongla.
Trek: 3-4 hrs | Altitude: ~4,940 m
Rejoin the main Everest Base Camp trail and continue with a shorter walk to Lobuche.
Trek: 7-8 hrs | Base Camp altitude: 5,364 m
Follow the Khumbu Glacier moraine to Gorak Shep, then continue to Everest Base Camp.
Hike and trek: 6-7 hrs | High point: ~5,545 m
Climb Kala Patthar before sunrise for the best close-up views of Everest.
Trek: 6-7 hrs | Altitude: 3,440 m
Descend through Pangboche and Tengboche, passing monasteries, forests and river crossings on the return journey to Namche Bazaar.
Trek: 6-7 hrs | Altitude: 2,860 m
Complete the final trekking day by descending to the Dudh Koshi River and following the familiar trail back to Lukla.
Flight: ~30 min | Overnight: Kathmandu
Fly back to Kathmandu, weather permitting, and transfer to your hotel.

Keep this day flexible in case of weather delays affecting Lukla flights or for additional sightseeing and relaxation in Kathmandu.
